Overview

Ready to take your tire expertise on the road and make a direct impact on our customers’ success?

We’re excited to share an opportunity to join Tire Rack as a Regional Field Tire Product Specialist II. This highly visible role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, sharing product knowledge, working independently, and helping dealership partners become more confident and successful in selling tires.

In this role, you’ll work directly with dealership teams as a trusted resource for tire education and product expertise. You’ll represent Tire Rack Wholesale throughout your territory, strengthen key customer partnerships, and help drive growth through engaging, hands-on training.

If you’re looking to expand your experience, build strong industry relationships, and make a direct impact with customers, this could be an exciting next step in your career.

Preferred home base: Los Angeles or Orange County areas. This position requires extensive weekly travel.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

This role offers the chance to take what you know and make an impact beyond the office. You’ll have the opportunity to:

•    Build strong, long-term relationships with dealership partners.

•    Become a trusted tire and product resource for our customers.

•    Work independently and take ownership of planning your territory and schedule.

•    Gain valuable field experience and greater exposure to the wholesale side of our business.

•    Partner with teams across Tire Rack Wholesale while seeing firsthand how education can influence customer success and account growth.

•    Continue developing your communication, presentation, sales, and relationship-building skills.

Why Field Tire Education?

In-dealership training is a critical part of the car dealer channel and plays an important role in building and maintaining strong partnerships with our corporate customers and dealership partners. By giving dealership teams the knowledge and confidence they need to successfully sell tires, the Field Tire Education team helps position our partners and Tire Rack Wholesale for continued success.

What You’ll Do

•    Set up and conduct individual on-site and multi-dealer educational events that help corporate customers and dealership partners successfully sell tires.

•    Complete approximately 5–6 program visits per day, typically 45–60 minutes each.

•    Research account activity, schedule visits, and plan efficient travel routes in advance.

•    Customize education topics using account data, event feedback, and Corporate Account Manager input.

•    Identify opportunities to grow assigned accounts through customer conversations, product education, and visit feedback.

•    Share account feedback, training activity, and reporting with Wholesale Sales Specialists and internal sales teams.

•    Conduct sales prospecting calls as needed during non-travel time and plan travel efficiently to minimize unnecessary overnight stays.

Schedule & Travel

•    Monday–Thursday: Regional field travel, typically during business hours from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time.

•    Friday: Office day, typically 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time.

•    This role is generally scheduled for approximately 40–45 hours per week, with flexibility for additional hours or days based on business needs.

•    Assigned territory may include travel up to approximately 250 miles.

•    Overnight travel may be required depending on customer visit schedules and territory needs.

•    Car and gas allowance provided for approved business travel.

•    Corporate credit card provided for eligible travel-related expenses.

•    Company laptop and cell phone provided to support field responsibilities.

•    Flexibility and willingness to work outside the typical schedule are requirements of this position.

What We’re Looking For

•    Must pass a full-panel Motor Vehicle Report review.

•    Must remain in compliance with all company car insurance and driving standards.

•    Four-year college degree and two years of applicable sales experience OR five or more years of direct tire sales experience.

Ready for Your Next Challenge?

If you enjoy connecting with people, sharing what you know, and seeing the direct impact of your work, this role offers an opportunity to take your experience in a new direction. You’ll have the independence to manage your territory, the opportunity to represent Tire Rack Wholesale with important dealership partners, and the ability to help customers become more successful through your expertise.

If you’re ready to take your knowledge beyond the office, build your field experience, and make your mark with our dealership partners, we encourage you to apply.
